Frequently Asked Questions

Why is it called "Bifrost?"

In Norse mythology, "Bifrost" was the name of the rainbow bridge between Asgard, where the gods lived, and Midgard, where the humans lived. Similarly, Bifrost Distribution bridges the gap between wholesalers and the people who make videos, DVDs, CDs and books.

What does Bifrost do?

What Bifrost Does:

Bifrost gathers products from independent filmmakers, musicians and publishers into its catalog and makes them available to retailers and rental stores both directly and through major wholesalers.

What kind of prices does Bifrost offer to libraries?

Bifrost encourages independent filmmakers to sell their products at reasonable prices to libraries.

Bifrost will sell 1-9 copies of any video to libraries at the suggest retail price (SRP). Libraries buying 10 or more copies may purchase them at the wholesale price.
