Zombies. Warriors. A battle for the future of the world. This is the setting for the comic book series Lazarus: The Many Reincarnations, created by Zak Hennessey and published by Lodestone Publishing, LLC.
In a time of magic and fantastic creatures, an ominous and malevolent force rises in the west and begins to engulf the land. It is an army of the undead, lead by five powerful beings calling themselves the Lords of the Dead. They seem unstoppable. In a short time, they devour huge chunks of the land, and enslave the bodies and souls of all creatures they slay. The land is laid waste. But from the ashes rise heroes who earn the title "Survivors." These beings have taken up arms to stand against the overwhelming armies of the undead. It is a hopeless stand, yet they fight on.
Meanwhile, in a forgotten citadel far to the east, a clandestine religious cult has performed a ritual to bring back the hero that their ancient texts claim will defeat the Lords of the Dead. They believe this man to be Lazarus, who is rumored to have died and risen a number of times. They have recovered his silver skull, and the stars are in the proper alignment.
The Age of Twilight is upon us. It is time for the return of Lazarus. . .

Zak HennesseyZak Hennessey had a 45 minute walk between home and work when he was in his teens. This gave him plenty of time to daydream of fantastic worlds of powerful beings and apocolyptic battles. These tales formed the basis of the story of the Lazarus series. Later Zak trained with several prominent comic book artists and attended the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver, Colorado. He recently moved with his wife and daughter to Southern California. Visit the official website: www.lazaruslives.com |
